1. I believe that media is very important in my life. It is a way of communicating each other i.e.. Email, MSN, and Facebook. Another reason why it is very importand it because it is an inspiration and it keeps me occupied. I.e.. Music, television.
2. What types of media do you feel most passionate about or are most important to you? The two most important media to me would be music and internet. Music because it soothes me and im listening to it all the time, I guess it just makes me feel relaxed and it sends out messages in there song witch i like to listen to. The internet because i use it all the time to contact friends see what’s happening in others lives, it helps me keep track of things and in touch with people.
3. My thoughts on our modern popular culture is that it is very up to date. I think it is getting ahead of itself a little tho because it is more and more on computer and it is bound to fail. I like the new technology that is helping us communicate in different ways. for example the i-pod touch alowing us to accses the internet whenever we have a signal, therfore we can email and chat with our friends. The popular culture that i dislike is how much computers are used everyday. Its getting ra bit over bored. I use media for contacting people, my own personal fun and entertainment, and to listen to music. Technacly i use it for information on other people i.e. facebook, but other then that mostly just entertainment.
4. Music is an essential part of my life. I listen to music everyday, i love to listen to songs that have meaning to them and a story to them. I mostly listen to pop music and 91.5 the beat, but i can listen to anything. The only music I don’t like particularly would be heavy medal and opra. Some songs i can handle but overall I dislike it.
